Convenience Store Woman

"She's far happier thinking her sister is normal, even if she has a lot of problems, than she is having an abnormal sister for whom everything is fine." A unique exploration of societal norms through the eyes of a woman who finds solace in the routine of her job at a convenience store. 📖 Read this if you like: quirky Japanese fiction, outsiders who refuse to fit in, Earthlings, My Year of Rest and Relaxation, or short, sharp novels about being "normal".
